4/27/25 Today I went down the block to Riverdale to Greystone Coffee on 5812 Mosholu Ave, Bronx, NY 10463. This place is a gem around the corner. I got an iced coffee, bagel with cream cheese, a chocholate and white chocolate chip cookie. I paid about $11 for everything. This place is super accessible if you live Uptown or in The Bronx in general. Everything was good. Got a coffee place you'd recommend? 4/20/2025 I went to two spots today, Claudia's on 39 Bushwick Ave, Brooklyn, NY 11211 and Larry's Ca Phe on 135 Woodpoint Rd, Brooklyn, NY 11211. at Larry's I got Jade's Matcha with Pandan with a Spiced Brownie with Chili, Ginger, Cinnamon and White Pepper. The Matcha was great, I did not like the brownie but I was honored to understand the culture of Asian food and why the ingredients were added. At Claudia's I got a Mario's Burger which was top tier. I recommend both spots especially since they are a couple minutes of a walk near eachother in Brooklyn. Got a coffee place you'd recommend? 4/13/25 Coffee Lab Roasters on 7 Main St, Tarrytown, NY 10591. I bought two different types of chocolate chip cookies because I couldn't settle for one. BOTH were great. I got an iced lattee that also did not let me down. I loved the colorful scenery and the drive was pretty therapeutic on the way there. Today was the perfect day to take the trip to Tarrytown. 4/6/25 I went further up north to Don Carvajal Café on 75 Main St, Irvington, NY 10533. I heard it was a Bronx based Afro Latina brand and I wanted to check it out. I had a matcha lemonade and a chocholate chip cookie. The matcha lemonade was very different, I should've bought a coffee with the lemonade. The cookie was pretty good. I saw some dope vinyls, I was not sure if they were for sale or for display but I liked the assortment that were present. This is for sure a location I would not mind taking another drive to in the warmer weather. Also look at these lillies I kepts in my backyard until they fully bloomed. 3/30/25 How Ya Brewing cafe on 5 Fisher Ave, Tuckahoe, NY 10707. A short commute from my house, I got a large Matcha for only $6 and this got to be the best Matcha I've had so far. It was explained to me that it was home brewed and syrup was recommended to sweeten it. The sweetner for sure made things even better. Due to the nature of my weekend I was not in the mood to eat anything but I did see some compelling pastries. Being that Westchester is not too far from Uptown I see myself coming here many times. 3/23/25 Urban Nutrition Spot on 197 Brook Ave, Bronx, NY 10454. This is a nice location in the South Bronx that is not only a cafe but a workout station. Today I got protein pancakes and a protein iced coffee. Both were really really really really really good. That was my first time having protein powder and I did not expect it to taste so well. 3/15/2025 I took Sunday Off to go to Sundays Off on Saturday at 1508 Crosby Ave, Bronx, NY 10461. I bought a basque cheesecake and a iced latte. The cheesecake was immaculate and when the employees recommended it, I knew it wouldn't disappoint. The iced latte was cool, no complaints. I liked the energy of the staff there, very bro vibes and great customer service. I could see myself coming here on Saturdays this summer. Got a coffee place you'd recommend? 3/9/2025 Mottley Kitchen on 402 E 140th St, Bronx, NY 10454. As a Bronx resident, it's pretty cool to have a place like this close to home. I got an iced Matcha, Sweet + Spicy Chicken Club and a large chocolate chip cookie. The sandwich was alright, the matcha and the cookie were fire. 3/2/2025 I took a 10 minute drive to Light & Sweet Coffee and Ice Cream Parlor at 2889 Dill Pl, Bronx, NY 10465. It's a new Coffee, Ice Cream store in The Bronx. I got an Affogato which is ice cream with two shots of expresso. It was good and still within the theme of my Sundays. I would recommend this place to anyone that wants sweet treats. 2/23/2025 I did a 2 for 1 special today and went to 2 cafes. I went to Covert Bk on 3 Covert St., Brooklyn, NY 11207 and Dolly's Coffee Shop on 53 Rockaway Ave, Brooklyn, NY 11233. I originally wanted to just go to Dolly's but due to an electrical issue they were not selling any coffee at the time. At Covert, I got a PEC sandwich, a vanilla latte and a banana muffin. The sanwich was honestly one of a kind and one of the best sandwiches I tasted at a coffee shop. At Dolly's I bought a honey bun and a jalapeño chedder cacio e pepe. I was lost for words at the treats and I am certain to go back when the eletrical issue is fixed. I would like to shoutout my friend Kyle @nocoslim for the recommendations. He did not disappoint. 2/16/2025 I stayed in The Bronx this Sunday and went to Liam's Cafe on 1604 Williamsbridge Rd, Bronx, NY 10461. I got my meal to stay. I got a caramel iced latte and vanilla croissant. The croissant was surprisingly good, I wanted to get a chocolate croissant but they ran out of it and the latte tasted great. 2/9/2025 11:11 Cafe on 65 Richardson St, Brooklyn, NY 11211. Listen I had to fight temptation today due to it being superbowl sunday and I am not on a diet. I got a banana latte and almost..almost bought a nuttella banana slice. I got the latte warm due to the storm. It was really good and fulfilling. 2/2/2025 Full Up Cafe on 4321 8th Ave, Brooklyn, NY 11232. I tried a onigiri for the first time and it was good. A crab cake onigiri to be exact. I got a coconut latte that was pretty solid. The customer service was good, the barista informed me about what exactly was in a onigiri and made me confident in buying it. I still went on google to make sure I was eating it properly because I can't look too crazy out here. This part of Brooklyn is Chinatown so you have to kind of go out of your way to get there but I do recommend if you happen to be within the Sunset park area. Got a coffee place you'd recommend? 1/26/2025 Kafe Neo on 254 E 89th St, New York, NY 10128. Nice small space that was empty but very cozy. They had a list of speciality drinks. I got a White Mocha Lavender Latte. Despite a white variety of pastries I chose to just get the latte due to my weightloss goal. The latte was real good and the customer service was very laidback. This is a good space to go to in Manhattan especially if you are trying to avoid congestion pricing. Got a coffee place you'd recommend? 1/19/2025 Beer Garden on 887 Midland Ave, Yonkers, NY 10704 is the true definition of a hidden gem. When I went into the bar it was empty but the hospitality provided felt like I was right at home. I got chicken and waffles with bacon on the side, Tiramisu cheesecake and 2 caramel lattes 1 iced and 1 hot. The food was nothing less than immaculate. The server was welcoming and I made sure to tip her. I am a fan of tipping great service. I recommend this place from all walks of life. 1/12/2025 Blue Brown Cafe on 45 Havemeyer St, Brooklyn, NY 11211. A pleasing space in East Williamsburg. I bought a Blue Brown Latte and Banana Bread. As you can see the latte was beautiful and tasted even better than it looked, the combination of blue and brown was mesmerizing. The banana bread was good and the combo was pretty affordable. 1/5/2025 first coffee post of the year Hungry Llama on 679 Washington St, New York, NY 10014. I essentially avoided paying a congestion fee by simply parking at a spot on the Westside Highway. Inside the store was overly crowded and I made the foolish mistake to order in. Nonetheless I enjoyed my order of a whipped honey latte and a breakfast burrito. The burrito appears to be a go-to favorite and it did not disappoint. The whipped latte looked great and tasted even better. This is a cool place to go to if you happen to live in the area or close by. I'd suggest buying to go as it was very busy.
